A recurring subject in my first underwater photography has been freedom. The freedom of self, freedom to be who we want to be, freedom to decide the way that best suits us in this life, freedom of thought and feel with no ties...

Because I believe in freedom, especially the freedom inside of ourselves, I think it is the responsibility of each person to find and win their own freedom. Because I value greatly the concept of freedom, although ironically in my life, it has not always been present. We are hostages of ourselves, and the only ones who are to blame for our lack of freedom.

These photographs are homage, a tribute, a call to seek, dream and conquer our own freedom. They are an invitation to dream through the observation of them, to question oneself about our own experience of freedom...
